Little Dreamers has four infant spaces in our program. We help our infants foster a sense of trust and security. Once our children have developed a sense of security they feel free to explore and learn. The main ingredient in our infant's day is play and exploration. Infants participate in undirected play where the children have choices to pursue their special interests. All while under the watchful eye of their caregiver who provides consistent and responsive care.
Our toddler rooms at Little Dreamers are set up to allow our children to take an active roll in their day to day routines. Toddlers days are designed around a flexible schedule that includes both outdoor and indoor activities. As our toddlers grow our educators will provide learning opportunities that develop and enhance the children's fine and gross motor skills, language skills and social interaction.
Little Dreamers preschool program offers a combination of child directed learning opportunities and teacher facilitated activities. Our classrooms are set up to allow for independence. It also allows the children to move from center to center giving them the option to make choices about their learning opportunities. The preschool program is based on themes. These themes will be explored through cognitive circles, songs, stories, art, field trips and science. the preschool children enjoy activities that promote literacy, math, science and music. They also spend ample time outside in all types of weather.

Bringing the outdoors into early childhood education
Outdoor play is a large part of our day at Little Dreamers daycare. There is no such thing as bad weather rain and snow are a natural part of our environment. Spending time outside in nature fosters a natural way for children to discover and learn about the world around them. Outdoor play does more than offer an opportunity to expend surplus energy. Outdoor play offers opportunity for exploring, risk-taking, fine and gross motor play as well as complex cooperative play. Come prepared to spend time in the outdoors.
